IFLA Satellite Meeting

12 & 13 August 2020 Oxford UK

Are you passionate about reading and libraries?

‘What role does the library have in supporting an individual’s Reading Journey’? This is the question we will address through our exciting programme which will comprise a combination of keynote speakers and targeted papers with perspectives and experiences from around the world.

Over the two days of the meeting delegates will have the opportunity to spend time with colleagues and to share and learn from others’ experiences.

The Satellite is being organized by four IFLA Professional Units: Literacy and Reading, Public Libraries, Metropolitan Libraries; and Libraries for Children and Young People in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council . It will be held in the Saïd Business School, Park End Street.

So join us in Oxford  for our Satellite meeting before you head to Dublin for the IFLA World Library and Information Congress.
